Recovery Walks

Recovery Walks! 2010 is an opportunity to celebrate recovery in motion one step at a time. Proceeds from the walk will benefit the Ameel Rashid Scholarship for Addiction Recovery. The scholarship was established in 2007 to help people who are appropriate for treatment services at the Illinois Institute for Addiction Recovery but are unable to meet the financial requirement for those services.

On Saturday, September 25, on the campus of Proctor Hospital, individuals will offer themselves as “living proof” recovery is real. Come help us remove barriers to recovery and open new doors for those still struggling with addiction. For information, contact Laura Schoon at 309-693-0414.
