Ameel Rashid Scholarship For Addiction Recovery

The Ameel Rashid Scholarship for Addiction Recovery was established in 2007 to help people who are appropriate for treatment services at the Illinois Institute for Addiction Recovery but are unable to meet the financial requirement for those services. This fund may also provide financial assistance to people who initially meet the financial criteria but their financial resources are depleted prior to successful completion of treatment, and they are unable to continue with treatment without financial assistance.

Dr. James D. Bowman Memorial Garden

The Dr. James D. Bowman Memorial Garden is located just behind the Illinois Institute for Addiction Recovery at Proctor Hospital and serves patients, families, and individuals, as a peaceful sanctuary for quiet reflection and intimate family gatherings. Personalized commemorative bricks are available with two or three lines of text as a memorial for yourself or someone you know.
