The Illinois Institute's compulsive gambling counselor certification training team includes nationally recognized trainers: Henry Lesieur, the internationally recognized "dean" of gambling research; Randee McGraw, manager of the Illinois Institute; Hank Sahlin, the Addiction Recovery Center's financial counselor; Steve Ranney, the Illinois Institute's coordinator of research and training; Angie Moore, Manager of the Addiction Recovery Center's clinical services; and Rick Zehr, Vice President of Addiction and Behavioral Sciences of addiction and behavioral services at Proctor Hospital.

In addition, other internationally recognized compulsive gambling counselor trainers such as Mary Heineman, Joanna Franklin, Debra Ellison and Valerie Lorenz routinely join the Institute's training team to provide certification training.
