BroMenn
Dr. Steven Ingalsbe, board certified physician in Family Practice, is the Medical Director of the
Illinois Institute for Addiction Recovery at BroMenn Regional Medical Center. Dr. Ingalsbe graduated
from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in June of 1986. His internship and residency
were at SIU-affiliated hospitals in Springfield, Illinois. Dr. Ingalsbe received education in
treating chemical dependence in Springfield at the Libertas Program under the instruction of
Dr. James Mulry and Dr. David Spencer (1987-1988).
After completing his residency, Dr. Ingalsbe practiced in the emergency department at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Illinois; at Austin Regional Clinics in Austin, Texas and at the San Marcos Hospital emergency room in San Marcos, Texas. Dr. Ingalsbe returned to the Midwest in 1989, entering into private practice in El Paso, Illinois. In 1989, he joined the medical staff of the Parkside Recovery Center and continues to serve Bloomington-Normal at the IIAR at BroMenn Regional Medical Center. When he is away from his private practice and the IIAR unit, Dr. Ingalsbe enjoys snow skiing, running and is an avid small airplane pilot. Janice Landy, M.D. has provided psychiatric consultation for the Illinois Institute for Addiction
Dr. Landy has worked in a variety of settings with addicted patients. She has experience with methadone screening, medical detox and dual-diagnosis assessment and treatment. Of particular enjoyment to her is providing consultation at the IIAR. The challenge of trying to clarify the etiology of psychiatric symptoms in addicted patients and addressing the potential complications of treatment brings Dr. Landy both satisfaction and increased motivation. She also enjoys the opportunity to work within a multi-disciplinary setting. BroMenn Medical Group (BMG) is pleased to announce the arrival of Kenneth Fattmann, M.D. to
Dr. Fattmann is board certified in psychiatry and received his post-graduate training from Uniformed Services of the Health Sciences located in Bethesda, Maryland. He then began his training in psychiatry with a one-year internship at Karl Menninger School of Psychiatry in Topeka, Kansas. Dr. Fattmann completed his residency training at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. Prior to relocating to Bloomington-Normal, Dr. Fattmann practiced in Bolivar and Springfield, Missouri. His practice included forensic work along with child, adolescent and adult psychiatry. |
