Illinois Institute For Addiction Recovery
Opens New Inpatient Facility on Proctor Hospital Campus
The Illinois Institute for Addiction Recovery at Proctor Hospital cut the ribbon April 16, 1999 on its new 12,000-square-foot freestanding inpatient-treatment facility. Over 200 local dignitaries, clinicians, employers, media and members of the medical community attended an open house and toured the new state-of-the-art facility. Located adjacent to the hospitals outpatient Counseling and Recovery Center, the new inpatient facility offers separate programs for adults and adolescents, treating addictions to chemicals, gambling, spending, food, sex and the Internet.
The facility will house patients from across the country receiving medical detoxification, inpatient treatment, intensive addiction day-treatment (includes overnight lodging) and addiction day-treatment. It is located in an easily accessible, highly confidential setting surrounded by the wooded, park-like campus of Proctor Hospital.

The Illinois Institute for Addiction Recovery at Proctor Hospital has enjoyed the expertise
of these three gentlemen since it opened over twenty years ago!
