Madge White is the Clerical Coordinator at the Illinois Institute for Addiction Recovery (IIAR) at Proctor Hospital and Advocate BroMenn Medical Center.

She began working at the Addiction Recovery Center (formerly known as the Chemical Dependency Center) in February 1989 as the secretary for the inpatient unit. After working in this position for one year, she accepted the position of Clerical Coordinator and has been in this position for the past ten years.

In this position, she supervises all secretaries of the Addiction Recovery Center (inpatient and outpatient departments) at Proctor Hospital and Advocate BroMenn Medical Center. Moreover, she supervises the secretaries working in the Social Services Department and the Counseling Center at Proctor Hospital, also participating as a member of the IIAR’s Management Team.

She has worked in the preparation of the Paradigm magazine from its inception in 1996. A long-time resident of the Peoria area, Madge attended Illinois Central College. Her previous work experience includes the positions of secretary at Bradley University and the Peoria Police Department.
