IIAR Adolescent Services

IIAR is committed to assisting adolescents and their families with substance use disorders and co-occurring emotional and physical problems negatively impacting their lives. Early Intervention and Outpatient Addiction Treatment for ages 13-17 are offered at our Peoria facility on weekdays during after-school hours.

Early Intervention Education

  • Early Intervention Education addresses concerns and risks related to early use of substances by adolescents at risk for addiction.

Outpatient Addiction Treatment

  • Evidence-Based Curriculum and Therapies
  • Individual & Group Counseling
  • Family Education & Counseling
  • Concurrent treatment for behavioral health and process addictions.

The Assessment Process

  • IIAR’s trained, licensed and credentialed clinicians, nurses, and physicians complete an assessment with the adolescent and their parent/guardian.
  • A personalized treatment recommendation is prepared and discussed with the adolescent and parent or guardian.
  • Insurance benefits are verified by UPH financial representatives.
  • Based on recommendation, an admission appointment will be scheduled or if recommended, an appropriate referral made.

  • Driver’s License or Photo ID Card
  • Insurance Card / Information
  • Parent and/or Legal Guardian
  • Medication List, if applicable
